Hi friends! As we head closer to the holidays, I’m excited to share my first holiday-inspired group challenge with you! It’s a way for the Nutrition Elevated community to connect with one another, and a small way to bring some joy to each of your lives during this busy season.
Here’s how it works
- You will be partnered with another Nutrition Elevated reader for 12 days. You’ll receive 12 prompts (one daily) to complete with your partner via social media or email. My hope is that you’ll find ways to inspire and encourage one another throughout the challenge. And who knows – you may end up with a life-long friend! On the final day, you’ll each open a small gift package that you have curated and mailed to each another ($15 limit, including shipping). If you prefer to opt out of the gift-giving, not a problem! Just make sure to indicate that on the sign-up form.
Challenge Dates: Monday, December 4th – Friday, December 15th*
*The last day to sign up is Friday, December 1st
Why you should join us:
- It’s a great way to get to know other members of this amazing online wellness community!
- A little bit of vulnerability can go a long way – this is a great way to push yourselves out of your comfort zones.
- You’ll feel inspired daily – and you’ll also get to inspire others.
- You may make a new (and great!) friend. Open yourselves up to the possibility!
- If you choose to participate in the gift exchange, you’ll get a surprise package delivered to your door at the end.
Get to know your partner! You’ll send one another a quick bio (prompted by some fun questions). Feel free to include a photo, your social media platforms, and any other fun facts you’d like to share.
Send your partner your favorite inspirational quote, and include a snippet about why you like it, and a time in your life that it’s resonated with you most.
Share a photo with your partner of something bringing you joy that day. You can send it via any social media platform, or email! Be sure to tell them why it’s bringing you joy! #smalljoys
Share you favorite holiday-inspired recipe with your partner. If you’ve made it recently – share a picture!
Complete a random act of kindness and share it with your partner! We all do better, when we all do better! *if you’re participating in the gift exchange, it might be a good time to start putting your package together!
With your partner, share a song, podcast episode, or blog post that is inspiring you or bringing you joy lately.
Share your favorite form of self-care with your partner. It’s always great to share ideas!
Participate in our virtual group coffee date (refer to my blog for prompts on this day!) *if you’re participating in the gift exchange, make sure to mail your gift today!
With your partner, share 3 qualities that you REALLY LOVE about yourself. Now is not the time to be humble – it’s the time to be LOUD & PROUD!
Send a book recommendation over to your partner. Be sure to include why you liked the book and what you gained from reading it.
It’s treat yo’ self day! Share with your partner how you treated yourself and remember, this doesn’t need to involve spending any money!
With your partner, share one goal you have for 2018 and how you plan to accomplish it. *if you’re participating in the gift exchange, it’s time to open your packages! Make sure to thank your partner for their efforts the past 12 days.
