“Nutrition Elevated” is an ode to my love of summiting tall peaks and a symbolism of the healing power of nature. Adequate nourishment is fundamental to living a life elevated (literally and figuratively!)
Health messaging in the fitness and nutrition industries can be damaging and harmful to anyone working to heal their relationship with food and their body. I understand that the intersection between the spectrum of disordered eating and movement is complex and requires thoughtful consideration during nutrition counseling sessions.
I also respect that joyful movement is different for every BODY and honor each individual’s relationship to exercise and movement. Whether you’re trying to heal your relationship with food and purposefully not engaging in movement, or you’d like to learn how to prepare for your upcoming summit of Mt. Rainier, I will walk alongside you and support you in every stage of your journey.
Welcome! I believe strongly that food is nourishing physically, emotionally, and mentally. I help clients gain insight into their own individual relationships and attitudes towards food, eating, and their bodies, and help bring awareness to how these relationships influence eating behaviors.
I specialize in providing eating disorder nutrition counseling to adolescents and adults. I also see clients struggling with disordered eating, relative energy deficiency syndrome (RED-S), and hypothalamic amenorrhea. I am a published author, nutrition faculty member, and public speaker.
